Our History
In 1989, Knoll, an internationally respected office systems furniture manufacturer, purchased Reff, an office systems and seating company co-founded by Fred Drechsel. Subsequently, in 1991, Fred launched his second major start-up venture: Drechsel Business Interiors, which has since become Canada's leading distributor of Knoll products, as well as many others. An experienced, well-rounded team was developed and strong management has established Drechsel as an office furnishings business recognized for the intelligence of its solutions to facilities needs, and the quality and attention to detail with which these are implemented.
Our Client Base
Among its satisfied clients, Drechsel counts large corporations such as financial services institutions, legal and accounting firms, and public sector organizations. Examples include AstraZeneca, Casino Niagara, the Government of Ontario, Magna International, McMillan Binch, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the University of Toronto.
